Computer Programming books for beginners is key in AP Computer Science. I have chosen a book for dummies because these types of books are simple to understand and follow for most. As I teach Java, the students will be able to follow in the book, looking at specific examples of basic programming. The resource that I have chosen will teach a few of the most popular languages used in the Computer Science field, so the programming languages learned are relevant. Learning to code in Java as well as Python is a major advantage for students who decide to pursue programming.
