Flexible seating will help my students feel comfortable while they learn. I am wanting comfortable floor seating, bean bag chairs, wiggle stools, and bouncy chairs. Traditional classrooms require a lot of sitting and facing the front of the class. Research shows that if students are comfortable they actually learn more effectively. I'm sure you all know what it's like to have a long day at the office. Maybe you were on the computer all day. Imagine if you could bounce quietly on a ball while typing or taking phone calls. BOOM! Mind blown, right! The best seat to learn in is the one that helps you do your best work. Standing, sitting, wiggling a little, everyone is different and learns more effectively if their needs are met. Please help me meet the needs of my students. I want my students to have the option to wiggle quietly and comfortable while they work. Thank you in advance!
