My students will read Patina every Friday. Although not on the curriculum, I want more than anything to feed their excitement to continue reading. As soon as they finished the first book Ghost, they were asking about the second book Patina. Seeing that spark in their eyes, the wonder in their voices, and the genuine desire to keep learning is inspiring. I've yet to teach a group of students where every class was stung by the reading bug. Won't you help me keep my students reading for the rest of 2021?
