Many of my students struggle to engage and stay engaged in mathematics. Many mathematical concepts are abstract and my students don't see the value in learning the concepts. Engaging books on the topic will help these students to see the value in learning the mathematical concepts and how they can be applied to real life. Manipulatives are important tools to help students make sense of mathematics. These students need materials to make concepts concrete and keep their attention. Many of my students are kinesthetic learners, they learn through physical activities. Manipulatives allow these students to stay focused on the task and learn. The dyslexia tools will help students that struggle with read the materials to access the curriculum.
