I am privileged to teach at an all girls school in a low income community. Our school is committed to providing our students with a plethora of STEM opportunities in order to increase the number of women of color in STEM-related fields. As the chemistry and physics teacher, my classroom is buzzing with hands on and minds on learning in an environment with high expectations and social emotional learning. My goal is for students to discover science by doing science and applying it to the real world.
