We have a designated center time where the students are free to choose which center they would like to play at and change whenever they choose. Young students learn best through play opportunities. They are active, curious, and hands-on!
"Children need the freedom and time to play; Play is not a luxury; Play is a necessity" - Kay Redfield Jamison.
We are requesting light table manipulatives, a coding mouse, Leapfrog Reader, and a Leapfrog Scribble and Write to provide them opportunities to use some technology in their play. Technology has become such a part of everyday life that using it early will help them as they get older.
