Hello!
We are the fantastic 4th Grade scholars of room 8 at Colin Powell Academy. We are excited to make scientific discoveries through Mystery Science Lessons. We will be doing experiments on Energy & Motion.
In this experiment, students explore how energy can make things go. In the activity, students experiment with rubber-band cars to figure out how much energy the cars need to end up in the designated target area.
Furthermore, students will explore how energy can be stored as height. In the activity, they will investigate how hills give roller coasters energy by experimenting with a model “bumper coaster.”
Hands-on science experiments make science come alive for my students. The collaborative learning environment not only encourages teamwork, but facilitates language development.
