The majority of our students live in poverty and are in homes that have limited food supplies. Our staff is working diligently to create a school resource pantry so our students have access to easy to prepare meals and snacks. Oftentimes, our students arrive to school hungry or need a snack to get through the day. Increased access to food will allow for increased concentration and a more viable learning environment. We are hoping to build up enough stock so our students will have the option of bringing home food if need be. It is vital that our students' essential needs are met in order for them to focus on learning.
