In my class, students create their own personalized class notebooks. Students will use these notebooks every day to take notes, draw pictures, and do class activities. I have students create their own graphic organizers, which helps them cement their learning. I find that doing it this way uses less paper and helps keep students organized! We divide the notebooks into clear sections using the sticky notes into three clear sections (Enter/Exit, Notes, Activities).
I am planning on students drawing diagrams for government and psychology class and the color pencils will help them create beautiful drawings! By having these class materials, every student will enter my class ready to learn, create, and explore.
