I want to use Kindles in my ESOL class to differentiate instruction. In the ESOL classroom a lot of visuals are needed. The use of technology will allow me to use visuals. I also can make great use out of a read aloud. The Kindle devices will aid for the students that have challenges with pronunciation a chance to build onto their vocabulary. I feel that I can allow for students to have fun while learning new concepts and ideas with the Kindle Fire. Students need exposure to technology and this project will allow this idea.
Technology in the classroom allows for student engagement. With the use of technology, I can ensure my students receive modifications, differentiation, and accommodations. This usage of technology will also allow my students to explore different cultures, ideas, and knowledge.
