These items will help with flexible seating and will make our classroom a welcoming and calm environment where all students feel safe. Having a safe environment that makes kids feel welcome and as if they are in a home setting, helps them to take risks and be willing to try new things. Having students feel comfortable is essential to their learning. Mental health and wellness is important and creating an environment for students where they have safe places to learn and collaborate as well as having tools such as oils and lamps to help the room feel calm and safe will help students learn and grow to their full potential.
