My 3rd grade students are in need of diverse books about heroes from around the world. I am requesting diverse books by authors from various cultures about characters from various cultures. Through this project, my third graders will be able to read stories about heroes like Malala Yousafzai, Wilma Rudolph, and Harriet Tubman. It’s important for my students to read engaging stories with diverse main characters that they are able to relate to. I have selected books that represent cultures from around the world that will engage my students in deep conversations and enrich their cultural awareness. Please help me bring diverse books into my students hands and hearts.
