We want to grow and learn in spite of our watery start.
My students need an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil in order to explore their learning abilities.
Being in a 100% Title I school, means that some resources are not always available for the students. In addition, to a budget deficit, Hurricane Harvey, had a big impact on what was a necessity for the school year. Clothing, backpacks and basic school supplies for students were a first priority. Each year, there is the expectation to provide the students with opportunities to promote academic improvements, however, the funds are not always available.
The technology resources, I am requesting are one iPad Pro and an Apple Pencil. The students will able to utilize an iPad Pro and an Apple Pencil. I would love for them to experience the technology they hear about. They want to research topics on animals, government, writing stories, science, art and the newest chapter books. Many of my students do not have access to internet at home and with this iPad, my students can read, practice math skills, research animals or any historical figure we might be studying. Through the use of technology, I want to make learning more exciting, fun, keep them motivated & engaged. The possibilities are endless!
