We moved into our new building in 2007, and the school was stocked with mounted projectors in the ceiling that connected to the teacher workstation. We were able to watch our morning announcements and programs through this system.
Over the course of a couple of years, we have been blessed to add another technological devices around the campus, like SMARTBoards and etc.
Since our building is over 10 years old now, we are noticing that technology is constantly changing and we are having a different time staying current. The resolution on our mounted projectors does not project a clear picture for the students to see. We are having to turn off all the lights in the classroom, which makes it difficult for the students to work in the dark. This is a huge issue in the art room because the students are having a hard time with the coloring on the projector too. This new projector will allow us to lose the fuzzy pictures and keep the light on at the same time, plus the students will be able to see the details and coloring when working on art projects.
