As a teacher, I love reading to my students daily! As a primary teacher, it is my responsibility to build a strong reading foundation for all of my students. A strong reading foundation will ennsure my students will have a successful school year. In my classroom, Daily Five Reading Centers are implemented everyday. Students read to self, read to someone, listen to reading, word work, and work on writing. "Listening to reading" is by far the most popular center with Daily Five. With 25 students listening to online stories being read at the same time, it can get very noisy. The new headphones being used by my students will give me the opportunity to have more success with my small reading group.
