My student will benefit from these math games by engaging with other students and their family members. These math/educational games will allow them to practice math skills, expand their content knowledge and work on acquiring language and social skills. All important for newly arrived ESOL students.
When competing in team playing the game "24", students work in to solve math problems and must use their knowledge of multiples and factors in order to quickly solve the problems and move on to the next round. This brings out a competitive nature and motivates the students to work together as a team.
