I believe that these resources will greatly benefit and contribute to the success of my students. I chose several Goosebumps books because they were a part of my library as a kid and I wanted to share that experience with my students. They have come to love these books and have read most of the ones I currently have so I am hoping to get some new ones to put in the classroom library and encourage these young readers.
I chose the Time for Kids magazines because I remember reading these articles in school and absolutely loving them! Not only were they interesting and engaging, but they were also relevant. A lot of students struggle with non fiction texts so this would be a great resource to help make those connections and bridge their understanding.
