My students desperately need basic materials required for class. They need every day items such as pencils, paper, and scissors to complete their assignments. To quote Adam Braun, "What can a pencil do for all of us? Amazing things. It can write transcendent poetry, uplifting music, or life-changing equations; it can sketch the future, give life to untold beauty, and communicate the full-force of our love and aspirations." By donating to this project you will give my students the basic resources they need to conquer the world one assignment at a time. These basic materials will be used to bring reading to life through the use of interactive journals. This is a hands-on approach to learn the core content standards for the English/ Language Arts curriculum. To effectively use Interactive notebooks my students need the notebook paper, colored pencils, scissors, glue sticks, pencil sharpener, and pencils that I listed on my material list.
