These headphones with a microphone are the same type the students use on their end of year WIDA test. This test is to see if their English has improved in the following areas: Speaking, Writing, Listening, Reading, Oral Language, Literacy, and Comprehension.
Practicing throughout the year with these headphones will help the students be more comfortable using this technology during the test, which will help increase their scores. The students practice with specific programs (like Imagine Learning) on their Chromebooks that provide them with learning opportunities to improve their English skills. Hearing themselves speak is vital to their learning English.
