Students in Kindergarten are encouraged to use their Physical education skills for Students to learn about:
• Object movement skills by performing basic skills such as throwing and dribbling a ball.
• Locomotor and non-locomotor movement skills by performing basic movements such as running, hopping, jumping, and galloping, riding bikes.
• Expressive movement and dance by performing various movement patterns to a beat.
• Physical fitness by participating in various fitness activities and exercises.
If this project is funded, students will have all the supplies to complete these skills. Due to COVID restrictions, students cannot play on the outdoor equipment because they are not cleaned between classes. If we can get this funded, students will have easier access to bikes, balls, hula hoops, skipping ropes, etc. We need this for our students.
Students with special needs can use the supplies we have and we will have easier access to the supplies outside. Right now, we can only carry balls to the outdoor area. With this storage shed we can provide a wider range of supplies closer to the play area. All students will benefit from this request.
