This Alphabet Activity Carpet will help my Kindergarten students learn how to respect other students' boundaries and personal space. It will give me a starting point to tell them where to sit and what space is their space and what space is another student's space.
This specific rug will also help my students learn their letters in the beginning of the year. The pictures will also help my non English speaking students learn their letters.
When I call students to the carpet, I can tell them a specific letter to find and sit on. I can tell the ESL students to find the picture and then identify the letter. While on the carpet I can use the letters to remind them of their personal space.
