Some of my students don't have their own bed if they are staying with family. Buying an air mattress means student's don't have to leave their extended family homes to get a good night's rest. I need help filling the space between lengthy program applications, busy shelters for adults and the immediate needs of life- help me help them. The truth is when you just are too hungry to think there isn't someone who has the resources to help. School meals can only go so far when the needs are so great. The snacks and food will help with students who need a little something on the go.
