I teach an enthusiastic group of 1st grade students at an International Baccalaureate school which emphasizes becoming well-rounded, global citizens. While we are diverse in many ways, as a whole, our school's population qualifies us as a Title I school. This means we have a large population of students who rely on assistance from resources like our free lunch program.
My students share a passion for learning that fills my classroom with such a collaborative spirit! These young learners support and encourage each other in a way that inspires me! I want to keep their desire to learn and lift each other up burning bright so that they emerge from my classroom, ready to change the world!
