Now that my students spend many hours in front of the computer during distance learning, I want my students to go outside and be able to enjoy the fresh air and have fun playing with these outdoor activities.
I want my students to spend more time being physically active! For kids, being active means playing and having fun outside. My kids get plenty of time to be physically active when they have P.E class, during recess, or playing tag at school.
But with our current situation, students are not getting enough time to be outside being physically active. After school, I want my students to go outside and have time to practice their motor skills. Students will practice eye-hand coordination (throwing, tossing, catching, rolling, bouncing and dribbling) while exercising. Also, using sidewalk chalk to write letters, numbers and drawings will help students build confidence.
