In the real world, people are to work successfully in groups through collaboration in different settings. Teaching students at a young age to learn these skills throughout their academic day is vital in getting a head start. Providing students work surfaces that do just that will aid in this!
Being able to leave paper and pencil behind to focus on different mediums will help with the interest and creative flow of young minds. If we can have a whole classroom of students working together on one problem, the possibilities of ideas and results are endless! Flexible seating while collaborating also provides differentiation in all the different learning styles of students.
