Currently, we use dull pencils at school. Students are often discouraged to complete assignments when their pencil is not sharpened. When students get a chance to sharpen their pencil, it's like a brand new exciting pencil. They learn better when they feel they have something new and exciting. The smallest things mean the most to these kids. A new pencil sharpener will enhance students willpower to complete their work. They always think they do better work when they have a sharp pencil. It will also eliminate time lost when students are searching for a pencil around the room instead of working.
