My first grade students are beginning to discover who their favorite authors are and the types of books they like to read. I am asking for two 9 cube organizers, small shelf book baskets to hold our books in the cubes and extra baskets to set on top so students can easily find their favorite books. With your help imaginations and creativity will be encouraged and supported in a comfortable, welcoming reading area. My students are excited about reading and I would love for this to continue for many years to come. I am also asking for 2 comfortable chairs to have in our classroom library. Each week 2 students will sit in the chairs and tell us about their favorite authors and books.
