I want to provide my students access to Ozobots for a Makerspace in our library and am requesting one Ozobot Education kit.
Every child is a maker, and I want them to be able to explore and have the opportunity to be their best creative selves. We will have Makerspace week once a month and students will be able to use these Ozobots to learn coding and programming.
Ozobots are tiny robots that read color code. Students are able to create their own color codes with the provided coding markers or they can use the codes that come with the robots and create codes that way as well. The robot reads the code and follows the path. Ozobots push students to work together to create codes, create designs, use teamwork, and creative thinking. These robots are great for early learning for my Kindergarten students and we can build from that to make it a bit more challenging for my older groups.
Please help me support my students and encourage creative thinking. Programming is so important and teaches patience, attention to detail, and logical thinking.
