Posture is an essential part of any instrumental musician. Without good posture, students will not play their best. Bass players especially need good posture as they are holding such a large instrument. Having adjustable stools for my students will help them achieve the desired posture no matter their age or height. In my classroom, my bass players range from 4th grade all the way through a senior in high school. These stools will be used by every bass player that participates in my orchestra, and they will be able to adjust it to the proper height for the proper playing posture.
