My goal is to encourage the future scientist and engineers of tomorrow. Student who are able to see the possibilities that are available to them are more likely to strive for them. Seventh grade science has a sampling of Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Earth Science, and Astronomy. It is a great place to see possibilities for the future.
Having a large Periodic Chart on the wall at all times will help the students see the connections between the individual elements, families, atomic masses, and to demonstrate that the table can be used to predict properties of elements, even those that have not been discovered yet. Having quality visual aids promotes student to ask questions that they were unaware of previously.
When the opportunity is available, the students are encouraged to pursue higher level science classes like Chemistry in high school. Students are full of so much potential, they are our tomorrow.
About my class
