My students come from low income families. Every student in my school is eligible for free lunch. There is one library in the community which is about a 2 mile walk from the school. My students do not have reading books at home and because their parents work late hours, they are not able to take them to the library. The classroom is all they have in terms of opportunities to grow as students.
