The field of education has come to the realization that students social emotional status impacts learning!
National Association of Education (NEA) promotes social emotional learning!
Students will research inspirational quotes. They will choose a quote that resonates with them. Then they will design their piece to include a cheerful, peaceful or inspiring background with their quote in the foreground. They will paint with their Blink acrylic requested materials (paint and brushes) and hang their creations, with the requested 3M picture hooks from Staples, in our designated safe space. This is a place for students to practice healthy coping and de-stressing strategies, so they can go back to class ready to learn! There will be an entrance and exit slip for each student to provide feedback - I can't wait to share what they say.
