These kayaks will provide students exposure to an activity that they may not otherwise have the opportunity to explore. Being active as an adult is a key factor in maintaining our health and quality of life. In addition, it is a way to enjoy the outdoors with family and friends for years to come.
Kayaking is a lifetime activity that fosters the love of the outdoors. Many teenagers spend too much time inside or on a screen. It is my hope that by introducing the students to this new skill, it will encourage them to explore nature and be active as an adult.
