In order to keep our students engaged and connected to the school community, we are beginning a virtual book club. Students will pick up their bundles and we will meet and discuss the powerful works selected throughout the school year. Middle school students are at an impressionable age and we are living in unprecedented times. Reading these stories, participating in engaging discussions, coupled with guided literary analysis, builds strong readers and leaders. These are titles that are popular in my class library, which they do not have access to due to remote learning.
