We are in need of the proper reeds in order for my students to truly be successful within our band program. Most Woodwind instruments require a reed, and as you advance in your playing, you must adjust the type of reed you use based on your level. My percussionists need to have matching sticks in order to properly make a sound on their instrument. Currently, we do not have any matching snare sticks, and only 2 pairs of matching keyboard mallets. This makes the process of making music difficult, and at times frustrating. My students do a wonderful job of pushing through these difficulties, but to be able to provide these materials would show them that they truly deserve the proper materials to be successful.
