Students will be using these earbuds throughout the year as tools for investigative journalism research, a personal message project involving their favorite songs and producing and filming a Shakespeare parody. They will be exploring the work of other journalists, artists, and of course Shakespeare and will gain exposure to many different approaches to literature this year. Students will group up and find current relevant topics to investigate based on their social justice literature to write their very own, sophisticated articles on very pressing topics. Their personal messages are analytic and will reveal the song or poetry that speaks to them most. The Shakespeare parodies are fabulous modern day versions of the Bard's best work! It's a very rewarding experience for everyone!
