Miss Allen and Miss Porters students will study the life cycle of chickens through this project. Both classrooms will use the egg incubator for incubating our eggs and discuss the stages of their life cycle while the eggs are incubating for 21 days. The students will have the opportunity to turn the eggs daily to help with their development and track the growth of the embryos. When the eggs hatch, the students will care for them for several days by feeding them and providing a safe habitat for them with the tote and warming plate before they are taken to a forever home.

About my class
