Our students live in rural Maine and miss out on the most basic opportunities. We would love to bring these experiences to our students. We live in an economically deprived area and our students do not get many experiences. We struggle with getting students to come to school sometimes and incentives are frequently needed. It is hard to find incentives that do not take away from learning time, meet nutritional goals, and excite the students. This popcorn machine will definitely excite the children and believe it or not it may be the one thing that brings certain students to school on that day.
