Our large group rug is the focal point in our classroom and is where we all come together as a class to grow. Each student needs their own space so that they feel comfortable and safe to learn in our classroom. The large group rug in this project allows for students to have their own space, but also allows for students to begin exploring letters and the sounds they make by referring to the print on the rug. This allows for many activities and games to be done while on the rug, and make it another learning opportunity in the classroom.

About my class
