Many of us can recall the standard rows of desks that filled our classrooms growing up but this standardized model of learning is not always the answer. By creating a multifunctional space with flexible seating students can engage in a more realistic setting of the world and today's workforce.
Different sized tables, movable chairs, and appealing decor will allow students to feel engaged. The physical layout of the room will help foster the personalized model of learning that I am creating for my students. Students will have the opportunity to employ skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving and learn how to self-manage.
I am excited to create a new space with a positive mindset of what learning can be.
