My teenagers are high-energy, hands-on learners, so let's bring some hands-on activities to these students! This Play-Doh will help make a difference in student's learning because it takes the learning out of the textbook and into the student's hands!
Why not combine agriculture and finance, so that these rural students see the connection between our rural, agricultural lifestyle and financial aspects of our lives? With this Play-Doh, we are going to build models of animal's skeleton, digestive, and reproductive systems. Most of my students' families make their living from agriculture, and this activity will show students how their personal finances are directly tied to that agricultural lifestyle. These students' families make their living from farm animals, so let's help students study those farm animals!
