I teach sixth grade English at Dole Middle School in Honolulu, Hawaii. Our students are all able to have free breakfast and lunch because our school is a Title I school. Most of our students live in public housing.
Many students face challenges outside of the school day, involving issues such as friends and home life. Despite these challenges, our students have big hearts and a desire to learn while at school.
It is my personal goal to ensure they receive high energy, comprehensive English lessons, while feeling emotionally safe during the day. I try to provide them with innovative lessons that provide them with the fundamentals of English; reading, writing, listening skills, and speaking.
Thank you for your support.
