My project will provide flexible seating for my kindergarten students to give them the ability to choose the seating that best meets their needs. This project will provide several different seating options like wobble stools, wobble cushions, and exercise ball chairs. This seating will allow students to move, bounce and rock while still being able to focus on what is being taught or the work that needs to be completed.
Research shows that students retain information and learn best when they are able to move. I have seen what a difference giving students a choice makes. They are more engaged in their learning and are able to pick out what is best for them. With more options to pick from, my students will always be engaged in their learning!
