Right now I have a limited number of instruments in the percussion section which includes snare, bass drum, toms, and cymbals. We need the accessory percussion, such as the cowbell, cabasa, and claves, to be able to play all parts needed in the music we are learning and will be learning. It will give my students a chance to experience playing these different instruments as well as hearing how they work into the music.
I believe all students should have an equal opportunity to experience music as it is written. With these instruments, they will get that opportunity. Thank you for any help and support you can offer.
