Students need these specific TI34 multi-view calculators to help them understand the concepts of the lessons we work on. These instruments allow students to free up their cognitive abilities to focus on the problems. We will use these on a daily basis to ensure they are correctly completing the computations. NYS exams use the same calculators on their tests and my students need to become comfortable using them to ensure they are being used properly. I would like to be able to give each student a calculator they can take home to help them with their homework but this is the best I can offer them at the moment.
