Many of my students do not like to get their hands dirty or touch art materials because of sensory concerns. We have been working throughout the year to have the students gradually use the art materials as a natural choice during work time. Guess what?? Now everyone wants to create art during their work time! We love to see all the creative pieces, improved fine motor, interactive and social skills developing, but we are running out of materials. We need more paint including Sargent Art Watercolor Magic and pipettes for fine motor and watercolor dripping fun, Do A Dot Art! dot markers, the Glokers Early Learning Kids Paint Set and other supplies (brushes, rollers, sponges), play-doh, craft sticks, glitter and glitter glue, feathers, pipe cleaners, pom pom balls, stickers, construction paper, fingerprint paper, easel paper, Elmer's disappearing purple glue sticks, markers, Melissa and Doug wood stamps and ink. With all of these supplies, my kiddos can make messy and wonderfully creative masterpieces while they explore color and color mixing. Your donation will help us improve our fine motor skills, creativity and love of art. Picasso once said "Every Child is an Artist!" Please help us become artists.
