There are so many uses for tablets in the classroom. There are many learning apps available that can further enhance what is being taught in the classroom. We can use it for math and Daily 5 centers. Students can also stay current with what is going on in the world. There are many news apps which can be used to do research projects with. For fifth grade, we focus mainly on nonfiction texts throughout the year. Tablets can also make learning fun with games. There are so many educational games that are available.
