I am trying to have my students work from not just their desks but giving them time to stretch and work on a comfy mat. We can then sit on the mats as well as listen to a story and take brain breaks that allows us to move all while staying 6 feet apart. The mats are also easy to wipe off and clean. They will stay at school and be wiped down everyday. I want to make this year fun for my students even though it will be different. My students will benefit from these mats in so many ways. The children can take brain breaks on the mats and work from the mats instead of their desks. It gives my students another opportunity to move around with staying 6 feet apart from other students. My job as a teacher is to keep my students safe and that is what I plan on doing.
