As young students get ready to head back into the classroom, they will see many changes to their once familiar learning environment. Student tables will be spaced apart for social distancing and supplies that were once shared with their peers will need to be individualized.
It is important to me to help alleviate the stress to families having to provide school supplies for their child in an already emotional and stressful time. I would like to provide each student with a plastic school supply bin and supplies which will limit sharing and promote student safety. Each individual bin will have pre-sharpened pencils, white board markers, a small whiteboard, erasers, a composition notebook, highlighters, colored pencils, and a pack of crayons. Students can keep their bin at their seat which will help with social distancing.
Students will use these materials daily to share their ideas and learning with one another.
