As you can imagine adapting, modifying and providing appropriate curriculum and materials for my students can get quite expensive. With your help I would like to incorporate much needed technology, particularly interactive whiteboards in my classroom. This technology will allow all of students to access the material with ease. It will allow me to project computer activities and needed visuals large and full of color! I currently gather the students around my desktop computer. This is not the most ideal means to present visual information to my visually impaired students. It is also challenging to include the students with seizure disorders within the "computer crowd". These students need to remain easily accessible to the classroom nurses. Unfortunately the students with seizure disorders never get a front row seat at the computer during group time. I would like to change this!
